We at iCyberDefence have been vocal advocates of Design Thinking for a long time.
Indeed, with human error being the single most common point of entry for threat actors, building solutions around human needs and behaviours should be fundamental.
It is pleasing then to see Google releasing its “Secure By Design” reports, which spell out the company’s commitment to building security into all of its products, moving responsibility away from end users - including developers in the wider Google ecosystem.
This is to be welcomed, and we hope it will inspire other service providers and software businesses to put Cybersecurity at the heart of their product design.
